Hi, I’m Logan — a professionally trained makeup artist and the creative behind The Makeup Narrative, based in Cape Town.
My passion for makeup and hair began with a love for creativity, beauty and storytelling. I studied Hair & Makeup at Kohl Makeup Academy Cape Town, where I completed my training and earned my VTCT Level 3 Certificate.
Since beginning my professional journey, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a variety of creative environments and projects.
Some of my highlights include working with Cape Town Carnival, Zip Zap Circus, and working on photoshoots for @home. These experiences have allowed me to work with different faces, styles and creative teams while continuing to grow as an artist.
I believe makeup is more than simply creating a beautiful look — it’s about bringing a vision to life. Whether it’s soft and natural, glamorous, editorial, creative or completely out of the box, I love creating looks that make people feel confident and tell their own story.
Alongside makeup, I have also trained in hair styling, allowing me to create and coordinate complete looks for clients, models and productions.
